Charleston Area Alliance
The Charleston Area Alliance is a multi-faceted economic, business, and community development organization as well as the largest regional Chamber of Commerce in West Virginia. The organization is made up of over 700 business and community members.
Their mission is to create a more vibrant community and prosperous economy.
The Charleston Area Alliance began the Generation Charleston initiative in early 2006. Originally named, Young Professionals, it was formed to attract and retain young professionals to the region, while focusing on fostering the next generation of leadership. Young professionals are the future intellectual capital of any economy and the Charleston Area Alliance is committed to creating both an economy and community that is and will be attractive to this group of professionals.
