Communications
Manages all marketing-related activities for Generation Charleston, including the Web site, annual report and media relations, and provides promotional support for other teams within the group as needed.
Community Outreach
Connects Generation Charleston members with volunteer opportunities in the region. The Community Outreach team also coordinates the group’s quarterly volunteer projects and works to match young professionals with local non-profit board positions.
Economic Development
Focused on revitalizing the Charleston metro area by organizing and utilizing the skills and efforts of Generation Charleston members.
Membership
Focuses on recruiting and retaining new members. This committee hosts monthly orientation sessions, maintains the membership directory, and is the first stop for anyone who wants to become part of Generation Charleston.
Professional Development
Offers activities and events focused on members’ professional growth and career development. This committee also selects, recruits and hosts presenters at Generation Charleston meetings.
Public Policy
Focused on identifying the local and state issues that would further the cause and mission of Generation Charleston. Educate then Act.
Special Events
Plans and coordinates all Generation Charleston social and networking activities, from First Friday events to the Annual Gala.
